History
Mar Bar gets all of their seafood from Ulises Perdomo and Casamar Seafood Market. All the shrimp, fish & stone crab we use for our raw bar are caught by local fishermen who take daily trips into the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. They purchase this seafood directly off the boats, at our docks, from folks they've known for years.
The Casa Mar fish market has been around for quite some time. When you look up you'll notice red bars around the ceiling of the out door bar. These were used back in the day to load off tons of fish, Back when we all the technology to lift the amount of fish we had & when fresh fish was a common thing & the entire island was using fresh fish.(I know crazy) The Fish Market has been around since pictures were only black & white, and we believe we still carry on the same family feel it had from the start.
We have some pretty awesome neighbors! 'What the Fish' is a seafood shack just a few yards from us. Order anything from lobster rolls to chicken tacos & they'll walk it right over!
